Danielle Conlon Menk, Director of Client Services
BFA, Purchase College, State University of New York.
After a career spent largely in the financial and educational publishing industry, and after a stint as a stay at home mom, Danielle Menk joined Mason Associates in 2012. Prior to Mason Associates, Danielle worked as a Creative Director for the McGraw-Hill Companies in New York, spearheading projects for Business Week, Standard & Poor's and McGraw-Hill Educational Publishing, where she designed text books for the College Division, and streamlined standardized testing materials for CTB, the California Testing Bureau. After 12 years spent in New York City, Danielle and her husband relocated to Vermont, where she was fortunate to combine a love of publication design and a passion for cooking while working as an art director at Eating Well Magazine.
Since having children, Danielle has worked extensively as a volunteer in the local school district, both in the classroom as a Four Winds science facilitator, reading group and art class assistant, and in community relations as a PTO Board member. It is because of her own family and her involvement as a school and community volunteer that Danielle has reaffirmed her joy in working with children, which began as a teenager in Texas and post- college in New York as a mentor in the Big Brother/Big Sister's Program.
At Mason Associates, Danielle's primary responsibilities include intake, assisting in case management, client communication, referrals to and follow-up with schools and programs, transport coordination and administration of Secondary School Admission Tests (SSAT). She gets to exercise her design muscle by producing the annual Mason Associates Christmas card.
Danielle and her husband James, a computer consultant, enjoy time spent with their two children, ages 11 and 14, and a dog-like Maine Coon cat, and all the outdoor sports and natural beauty Vermont has to offer.
